PM must meet North Coast hospitals pledge

North Coast Nationals Senator Fiona Nash has used a speech in the Senate today to slam the Rudd Labor Government’s failure to fix local hospitals by mid 2009.

Senator Nash reminded Parliament that Richmond Labor MP Justine Elliot had run front page advertisements prior to the November 2007 Federal Election promising “Kevin Rudd will fix our hospitals”
