Jason and Patricia Reynolds

Jason and Patricia Reynolds
Building strong and sustainable rural and regional centres requires input from all sectors of the community; from small through to large business, industry, interest groups and community organisations. It is when these groups have a vision for the development of their communities that growth and sustainability can take shape. One couple leading the way when it comes to ensuring the long-term growth of their area is Jason and Patricia Reynolds. The Young-based small business owners are two people who clearly have a vision for the growth of their town. Not only do the husband and wife team own and operate a successful local electronics store, the pair are constantly exploring ways they as business operators, can give back to the local township of Young. "The Reynolds' are a fabulous example of how important locally-based businesses are to a rural town like Young," Senator Nash said. "Not a charity or fundraiser goes by that the Reynolds don't help support in one way or another. "Whether it be donating goods to the local hospital redevelopment, or hosting a fundraising barbecue at the store or sponsoring the junior soccer team, Jason and Patricia are among the first to put their hand up to offer support for any project. "The example they set for others in terms of community involvement is second to none and I congratulate them for their genuine interest and passion for the continued growth of their town. "As I travel around NSW, the one thing that always amazes me but never surprises me about rural towns is their strong sense of character, and its people like Jason and Patricia that help create this character and I wish them all the best as they continue to help foster strong rural and regional growth in Young."
